Dr. Ked Cottrell
Dr. Cottrell graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in rural Indiana. Dr. Ked moved to Carolina Beach in 2002. In 2011, he opened Pleasure Island Animal Hospital with his late wife, Julie. Dr. Ked's son Travis grew up in Carolina Beach and now resides in Brunswick County with his family. Dr. Ked has a dog named Brawley and two chickens named Evelyn and Barbara. 
Dr. Melissa Todd
Dr. Todd is originally from a small community in Northwest Ohio but moved to Tennessee in 2004. She earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. GO VOLS!! In 2016, she joined our Pleasure Island Animal Hospital family. Dr. Todd has two dogs, Phoebe (Jack Russell) and Frankie (Golden Retriever), and a calico cat, Mona. |
